Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor has new twist in the gameplay. Rather than finding hidden objects from the list, this game lets you find hidden objects from pictures. The hidden objects in this game have been broken into pieces and scattered across the room. Player get to find pieces of hidden items and put them together.
There're 2 kinds of objects, misplaced objects and key objects. After you found all the pieces of hidden objects and put them together, you get to put misplaced items back into their places in each room. And use key items to perform some action in order to progress to the next room.
I have played many Hidden Object games and I found that Mortimer Beckett and the Secrets of Spooky Manor stand outs from other games due to its unique gameplay and intriguing storyline.
