The Magicians Handbook: Cursed Valley is about finding hidden objects, learning new magic, playing mini-games. You can play leisurely or with limited time.
You learn new spells after some levels. There're many distractions on each level to make it harder to find hidden objects. Some examples of distractions are noises, light, etc. Some magic can remove distractions from the screen for some time so that you can find hidden items faster. The graphics and sounds are beautifully done.
As you finish levels and reveal new pages in the book, more of the story of the valley's history is told.
