Cinema Empire has very different gameplay from Cinema Tycoon Gold. This game has more realistic gameplay. You can earn revenue from various sources like advertising, ticket sales, snack bar. You get to sign contact with advertising agency. If you couldn't fulfill the contact, you have to pay big penalty fee.
Renting movie costs you some money too. You can hire more staffs, upgrade your theaters, adjust ticket prices, run ads on TV, and more. There're new surprises waiting for you every month. Some time you lose big money for some reason. Some time you're lucky and earn big money without doing anything.
The main drawback of Cinema Empire is its map screen. It's cumbersome to move from one building to another building on map screen.
